Integration Features
- Charge codes are mapped from the POS to Opera PMS to connect the two systems.
- When a guest dines in the restaurant or has drinks at the bar, the bill can be transferred to the guest’s room account by using Room Search and Room Charge on the POS.
- Once the bill is charged to the room account, it is closed and moved off the POS.
- Apply credit limits to a guest’s room account.
- Part-charge a bill to a room account. For example, two guests want to split a bill, so we charge our hotel guest’s items to their room account, and the other customer pays by card. Or, a customer can charge their food to the room account, and pay for their drinks up front.
